The San Luis Valley Colcha Embroidery Project supports artists to teach and tend to vital community connections while celebrating cultural traditions. The project supports exhibitions, workshops, and scholarship.

The San Luis Valley Colcha Embroidery Project is a project of NOON Organization and artists in the Valley.
Partners include Alamosa Library, Alamosa Senior Center, Antonito Senior Center, Antonito Together, The Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC), Saguache Senior Center, Saguache County Museum, San Luis Senior Center, Sangre de Cristo Heritage Center, Sisters of Color United for Education, and the University of Denver.
The San Luis Valley Colcha Embroidery Project receives materials support from Colonial Needle, Diversions Needlepoint, and Florilegium.
Funders
The San Luis Valley Colcha Embroidery Project has had support from funders including The Colorado Health Foundation, Crafting the Future, Laura Jane Musser Fund, the Folk and Traditional Arts Grant from Colorado Creative Industries, Saguache County, AJL Foundation, and Rawlings Foundation, and has taught in Centennial, Sierra Grande, and Mountain Valley Schools with support from THINK 360 Equity in Arts Education and Southern Colorado Community Foundation grants.
