Tiva Trujillo

Tiva Trujillo was born on June 6, 1917 in the town of San Acacio, Colorado. Tiva was a founding member of La Costura de Saguache. Her seminal work, Map of the San Luis Valley (1979) is in the permanent collection at History Colorado. Tiva is featured in the documentary Los Testamentos: Hispanic Women Folk Artists of the San Luis Valley. Tiva passed away in 1980.
